Albert F. Marg, 91, Neillsville, died
Saturday, June 9, 1990, at 9:25 a.m. at Neillsville Memorial
Hospital. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 12, 1990, at St.
John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neillsville. Rev. Richard Weber
officiated. Burial was in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Family
members served as pallbearers.
Albert Marg was born May 20, 1899, in Neillsville to August and
Bertha (Marth) Marg. He received his education at St. John's
Lutheran School, Neillsville. He worked for Stellon Implement in
Neillsville. He married Norma Winter, May 20, 1925, in Granton. He
then worked for the Railroad as an express agent for 30 years. He
retired in 1958. He owned and operated the Knob Hill Ranch Antique
and Resale Shop in Neillsville.
Survivors include his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Elaine Free,
Neillsville Mrs. John (Betty) Jennings, Waukon, Iowa Mrs. George
(Deloris) Stockard, Eau Claire Mrs. Ron (Shirley) Holverson,
Stanley fifteen grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, five brothers, five
sisters and one great-grandchild.
Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., Neillsville was in charge of the
arrangements.
