Sollie, Mildred (1912 - 1990)
Mildred Sollie, 78, Neillsville, died
Tuesday, Dec. 4, 1990, at Neillsville Memorial Hospital,
Neillsville. Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 8, 1990, at
1 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, Neillsville. Rev. James Gordon
officiated. The body was cremated and interment was in Lakeview
Cemetery, Eau Claire.
Mildred Henning was born Jan. 27, 1912, in Allen, to Red and Ida (
nee Pederson) Henning. She received her education in Allen. After
school she worked in Milwaukee and Chicago as a nanny. She married
Ragnar Sollie Oct. 15, 1941. He survives. They came to Neillsville
in the early 1950's and operated Sollie's Jewelry Store for about
20 years. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church,
Neillsville.
Survivors include her husband one niece, Colette Smith, Mt.
Prospect, Ill. and one nephew, Wally Landl, Missoula, Montana.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., handled the arrangements.
