Contonis, Debra (1962 - 1990)
Debra Marie Contonis, 28, Curtiss, died Sun.
Aug. 55, 1990, at 8:25 p.m. in St. Joseph's Hospital Hospice Unit.
Services were held Wednesday, Aug. 8, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's
Catholic Church, Colby, with Rev. Bruce Ball officiating. Her
brothers served as pallbearers, and burial was in St. Mary's
Catholic Cemetery.
The former Debra Werstovshek was born June 10, 1962, in Elmhurst,
Ill., to Ronald C. and Ida (nee Anderson) Werstovshek. She was
educated in Loyal schools. On June 8, 1981, she and Thomas Contonis
were married in Greece. She was a homemaker and mother, and also
worked for the Abbyland Pork Pack Inc., in Curtiss for the past
year.
She is survived by her husband one daughter, Maria, at home her
mother and step-father, Ida and Donald Rosenlof, Loyal six
brothers, Roger Werstovshek, Spencer Donald Albrent, Tomahawk
Donald Rosenlof, Delavan Robert Rosenlof, Dean Rosenlof, and Daren
Rosenlof, all of Loyal and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Marie
Werstovshek, Marshfield.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Werstovshek.
Rux Funeral Home handled funeral arrangements.
