Jones, Violet E. (1908 - 1990)
Violet E. Jones, 82, died Tuesday, July 17,
at her home in Oshkosh.
She was born April 10, 1908 in Granton, the daughter of Herman and
Clara (Beer) Schlinsog.
She married Elmer Krause, and then married Thomas H. Jones in
Oshkosh July 16, 1953. He preceded her in death Oct. 11, 1965.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Floyd (De Loris) Utke, Green
Lake, and Mrs. Jamiel (Audrey) Roggow, Oshkosh two sons, Norman
Krause of Arcadia, Fla. And Joseph Jones of Iola two step-sons,
Eugene and Tommy Jones, Oshkosh five grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
Services were held July 20 at the Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels
with Rev. Ralph Hanusa officiating. Burial was in Lakeview Memorial
Park, Oshkosh.
