Stark, Helen (1908 - 1990)
Helen Stark, 81, Greenwood, died Tuesday,
Aug. 14, 1990, at her home. Services were held Friday, Aug. 17,
1990, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Greenwood. Rev. Tom
Garrison officiated and burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Carl Thorne, Todd Bruchert, Kurt Bruchert, Harry
Bruschlager, Roger Bruchert and Joe Pastor.
Helen Bruchert was born Nov. 15, 1908, in Withee, to Fred and Emma
(nee Brandt) Bruchert. She received her education in Withee
schools. Before her marriage, she worked in Milwaukee and Withee.
She married George Stark Sept. 5, 1936, at St. John's Lutheran
Church, Withee. He survives. They farmed in the town of Mead until
1946, when they sold the farm. They moved to the City of Greenwood
in 1951. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Clark
County Historical Society.
Survivors include her husband one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Janet)
Rogalski, Thorp and two brothers, Leon Bruchert, Withee and Norbert
Bruchert, Withee.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three
sisters.
Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
