Erickson, Bonnie R. (1959 - 1990)
Bonnie R. Erickson, 31, Neillsville, died Friday, Aug. 17, 1990, at
St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at
10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 20, 1990, at St. Mary's Catholic Church,
Neillsville. Rev. Joseph N. Henseler officiated and burial was in
St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends served as
pallbearers.
Bonnie Schmidt was born March 12, 1959, in Marshfield, to Bernard
and betty (nee Jordan) Schmidt. She was educated in Loyal at St.
Anthony's School and Loyal Public School. She attended Chippewa
Valley Technical College and graduated in 1978. She married Erwin
Pete Erickson Aug. 30, 1980, in Loyal, He survives. She worked at
Marshfield Hospital as a dietary cook and then at the White Horse
Inn until her illness. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic
Church, Neillsville, and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 175,
Loyal.
Survivors include her husband, one daughter, Jessica, at home her
mother, Mrs. Betty Schmidt, Loyal eight sisters, Bridgett Schmidt,
Greenwood Bernice Schmidt, Merrill Mrs. Charles (Brenda) Rueth,
Loyal Mrs. Felix (Bernadette) Vasquez, Loyal Mrs. Dennis (Becky)
Trachte, Marshfield Mrs. Tom (Betty) Shaw, Marshfield Mrs. Randy
(Barbara) Horn, Greenwood and Mrs. Larry (Beverly) McFarlane,
Willard four brothers, Bruce Schmidt, Chili Brian Schmidt, Loyal
Bradley Schmidt, Loyal and Benjamin Schmidt, Loyal her paternal
grandmother, Mrs. Christina Schmidt, Loyal and her maternal
grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Jordan, Willard.
She is preceded in death by her father, one brother, one nephew,
and her paternal grandfather.
Gesche Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
