Hansen, Dorothy (1918 - 1990)
Dorothy M. Hansen, 72, Route 1, Neillsville, died at her home
Friday, Aug. 24, 1990. Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 27,
1990, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Neillsville. Father Joseph N.
Henseler officiated and burial was in the St. Mary's Catholic
Cemetery. Family members were pallbearers.
Dorothy M. Rennak was born March 12, 1918, in the town of Levis, to
Julius and Lulu M. (nee Richmond) Rennak. She received her
education in Jackson and Clark County schools and graduated from
Neillsville High school. She married Leland F. Hansen Sept. 1,
1936, in Loyal. He survives. They farmed in the town of Fremont.
She worked at the star Lodge Motel in Loyal and also at the Clark
County extension Office in Neillsville. She later worked for the
Palm s Supper Club in Hatfield. She was a member of St. Mary's
Catholic Church, the PW (past president), and Clark County
Homemaker s Club.
Survivors include her husband, Leland two daughters, Dianne Hansen,
Rhinelander, and Mrs. William (Lori) Schlitz, Colby four sons,
LeRoy Hansen, Albany, Ore. Kenneth Hansen, Somers, Conn. Richard
Hansen, Rosco, Ill. and Leonard Hansen, Green Bay 16 grandchildren
and 11 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Gesche Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
