Clouse, Clara (1901 - 1990)
Clara Clouse, 89, Loyal, died Friday, Aug. 31, 1990, at St.
Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held Monday,
Sept. 3, 1990, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. Father
Roman Kaiser officiated and burial was in St. Anthony's catholic
Cemetery. Pallbearers were Gene Hinker, Jerry Hinker, Nathan
Noeldner, Terry Stutte, Duane Stutte, and Glen Clouse.
Clara Stutte was born Feb. 11, 1901, in Eagle, to Fred and Anna
(nee Degenhardt) Stutte. She received her education at Loyal High
School and La Crosse Business College. She worked in Wausau in a
Power Electric Company.
She married Ben Clouse June 21, 1932, in Wausau. He survives. After
their marriage, they farmed in the town of Beaver until 1960, and
then moved to the city of Loyal. She was a member of St. Anthony's
Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ben one sister, Mrs. Hilda Loos,
Loyal and one brother, Hugo Stutte, Neillsville Memorial Home.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one
daughter-in-law.
Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
