Courtney, Dean Martin (1957 - 1990)
Dean Martin Courtney, 33, Wausau, died Monday, Aug. 27, 1990, as a result of a car accident in Las Vegas, Nev. Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 31, 1990, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby. Rev. Joe Pete and Rev. Bruce Ball officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Dean Martin Courtney was born June 7, 1957, in Waseca, Minn. to
Maurice and Angie Courtney. He received his education in Colby
Schools. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1976 - 1979 overseas. He
was a painter by trade and construction worker. He was a member of
St. Michael s Catholic Church, Wausau, and a member of the Eagles
Club, Wausau.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Robert,
E. Overseth, Parkers Prairie, Minn. he fiancé , Char Oliver,
Wausau two daughters, Naomi Courtney and Lena Courtney, both of
Auburndale four sisters, Mrs. Gerry (Alice) Waldhardt, Medford Mrs.
Dick (Andrea) Berquist, Eagan, Minn. Mrs. Robert (Linda) Imhof,
Sleepy Hollow, Ill. and Monica M. Courtney, Minnetonka, Minn. and
one brother, Kenneth Courtney, Racine.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Rux Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
