Zank, Arthur F. (1908 - 1990)

Arthur F. Zank, 82, Neillsville, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 1990, at Neillsville Memorial Home. Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 24, 1990, at 11 a.m. at Pine Valley Lutheran Church, Neillsville. Rev. Cheryl Matthews officiated and burial was in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Friends served as pallbearers.

Arthur F. Zank was born April 24, 1908, in the town of Pine Valley, Clark County, to Otto and Anna (nee Dux) Zank. He received his education in Neillsville and also at Teacher's Training School in Neillsville. He taught the Columbia School for one year. He married Neoima Schuelke in June 1936, in Neillsville. She survives. He then farmed for several years. He served as the clerk for the town of Pine Valley for several years.

Survivors include his wife, Neoima one son, Harold Zank, Kinsmans, Ohio three brothers, Albert Zank, Neillsville Louis Zank, Stevens Point and Fritz Zank, Black River Falls and four grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
