Steinle, Mollie (1898 - 1990)
Mollie Steinle, 91, Neillsville, died
Wednesday, Oct. 3, 1990, at Neillsville Memorial hospital,
Neillsville. Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 6, 1990, at
Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., Neillsville, at 10 a.m. Rev. Linda Kuhn
officiated and burial was in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Her
grandsons and great-grandsons, served as pallbearers.
Mollie Schwemmer was born Oct. 26, 1898, to Gotfried and Katherine
(nee Herbel) Schwemmer, in Driespitz, Russia. She and her family
came to America in 1921, and made their home in Dorrance, Kansas.
She married Fred Steinle in 1921 and made their home in Dorrance,
Kansas. After her marriage, she and her husband lived in Dorrance
and later moved to Milwaukee and lived there until 1945. They then
moved to Neillsville, then later moved back to Milwaukee and
retired back to Neillsville.
Survivors include her husband two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Frances)
Short, Neillsville and Mrs. Gilbert (Gladys) Hanke, Lake Tomahawk
one sister, Mrs. Lydia Zindler, Milwaukee five grandchildren and
seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and two
sisters.
Gesche Funeral Home, Inc. handled the arrangements.
