Wehrman, Cecelia T. (1918 - 1990)
Cecelia T. Wehrman, 71, Withee, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 1990, at
8:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services
will be held Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 1 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran
Church in Withee, with Deacon Tom Garrison officiating. Burial will
be in the Loyal Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Craig
Tuchalski, Jr., Frank Hendricks, Gary Peterson, George Sorenson,
Norbert Bruchert, and Barry Fetting.
The former Cecelia Gabrovic was born Oct. 9, 1918, in Willard to
Lucas and Louise (nee Jordan) Gabrovic. She was employed at Lunka s
General Store in Willard. She married Herb Wehrman July 19, 1947 in
Loyal. They later moved to Withee, where she was employed cleaning
at several businesses in Withee and Owen.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid
and was a member of National Kidney Foundation.
Survivors include her husband, Herb two sons, Gary of Withee and
James of Perland, Texas two daughters, Mrs. Craig (Nancy) Tuchalski
Greenwood, and Thelma Mertens, Withee two brothers, Jack Gabrovic,
St. Louis, Mo. And John Gabrovic, Hot Sprins, Ark. two sister,
Alveara Celesnik, Eau Claire, and Louise Wren, Neillsville and
seven grandchildren, Craig Jr., Dustin, Michelle, Kelly, Kristy,
Kory, and Jason.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Roger, in 1950,
one granddaughter, Lisa, four brothers, and one sister.
Maurina Funeral Home in Owen handled the arrangements.
