Hill, Charles A. (1945 - 1990)
Charles A. Hill, 45, Neillsville, died
Saturday, Oct. 27, 1990, at Neillsville Memorial Hospital,
Neillsville. A memorial service was held Tuesday, Oct. 30, 1990, at
the Neillsville High School gymnasium at 1:30 p.m. Rev. James
Gordon of Calvary Lutheran Church, Neillsville, officiated. The
body will be cremated.
Charles A. Hill was born April 25, 1945, in Oulu, Wis., to Charles
and Helen (nee Pudas) Hill. He received his education in Brule and
Maple. He graduated from UW-Superior with a degree in elementary
education. He then worked as a Merchant Marine for one year before
returning to school to work on a degree in guidance. He taught at
West Allis School in Milwaukee and then came to Neillsville in 1970
and has taught her since. He married Barbara Mott, July 5, 1980, in
Granton. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church the Men s
softball league men s basketball league, and was the Neillsville
Middle School boys basketball coach.
Survivors include his wife one step-daughter, Trena Anding, at home
and one brother, Rodney Hill, Duluth, Minn.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one infant brother.
Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., handled the arrangements.
