Strangfeld, Mary I. (1943 - 1990)

Mary I. Strangfeld, 47, Neillsville, died Friday, Nov. 2, 1990, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 6, 1990, at United Methodist Church, Neillsville, at 11 a.m. Rev. Thomas LaChapelle officiated and burial was in the town of Weston Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mathew Grabowski, Joseph Melzer, Jesse Marty, Wayne Greeler, Dale Hohenstein and Larry Osegard.

Mary I. Davis was born Jan. 22, 1943, in Clark County, to Clarence and Dorothy (nee Gorelitz) Davis. She married Edward J. Strangfeld Sept. 6, 1961, in Neillsville. He survives. They moved to Milwaukee for five years and then returned to Neillsville, where she worked at Nelson Filter for seven years.

Survivors include her husband three daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Marie) Greeler, Lori Strangfeld and Melissa Strangfeld, all of Neillsville three sisters, Diane Davis, Berlin Mrs. Byrl (Louise) Strangfeld Neillsville and Janice Davis, Tomahawk Robert Davis, Lake Geneva Kenneth Davis, Delavan and Allen Davis, Lake Geneva and two grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one daughter.
