Hills, Alfred James Jr. (1936 - 1990)
Alfred James Hills Jr., 54, Loyal, died
Wednesday, Nov. 14, 1990, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 17, 1990, at 12 noon at
St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. Father Roman Kaiser and
Father Chester Osowski officiated. Pallbearers were nephews Steve
Vollrath, Pat Duell, Tom Duell, Tim Hills, Jim Hills, Randy Hills,
John Hills Fr. And Dan Sebold.
Alfred James Hills Jr., was born Jan. 30, 1936, in Loyal, to Alfred
and Ina (nee Parker) Hills. He graduated from Loyal High School in
1954. He served in the U.S. Army and was discharged in 1956. He
married Betty Miller June 28, 1958, in Colby. She survives. He
worked at O. W. Trindal Co., then at Stock Chevrolet from 1958 -
1969. He purchased the bowling alley in Loyal with his brother Don
in 1969, and ran it until the present time. He was a member of St.
Anthony's Parish and the American Legion Post 175.
Survivors include his wife two daughters, Mrs. Ken (Shari) Smith,
Greenwood and Mrs. Al (Amy) Borgeson, Greenwood two sons, Douglas
Hills, Windsor and Joseph Hills, Dorchester three sisters, Doris
Duell, Loyal Mrs. Wilfred (Doreen) Sinclair, Milwaukee and Mrs.
John (Sue) Aiken, La Crosse five brothers, Donald Hills, Loyal John
Hills, Milwaukee Charles Hills, Wausau David Hills, Sussex and Mike
Hills, Juneau and six grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father and one sister, Sandra, in
infancy.
Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Memorial may be given to Special Olympics Area II.
