Milton William Bombard, 91, Marshfield, died
Saturday, Nov. 10, 1990, at Marshfield Living Center. Funeral
services were held Wednesday, Nov. 14, 1990, at United Methodist
Church, Spencer. Rev. Kenneth Barnes officiated and burial was in
the West Spencer Cemetery.
Milton William Bombard was born July 12, 1899, in Iowa, to Beauford
and Clara (nee Freeman) Bombard. He received his education in South
Dakota. He lived his early life in South Dakota, then moved to the
Spencer area in 1918. He farmed in the Town of Sherman for most of
his life. He married Mildred McVean Oct. 11, 1922, in the Town of
Sherman, Clark County. She preceded him in death. He was a member
of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Dale Bombard, Spencer and Calvin
Bombard, Spencer one daughter, Mrs. Allen (Charlotte) Michael,
Rockford, Ill. one sister, Mrs. Beulah Kasper, Spencer eight
grandchildren 17 great-grandchildren and one
great-great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister,
and two grandchildren.
Rux Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
