Krause, Rocella Emma (1907 - 1990)
Rocella Emma Krause, 83, Route 4,
Neillsville, died Friday, Nov. 23, 1990, at St. Joseph's Hospital,
Marshfield. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 27, 1990, at
11 a.m. at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Granton. Rev.
Richard Weber officiated and burial was in the Windfall Cemetery,
Granton. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
Rocella Emma Gerber was born May 7, 1907, in the town of Grant,
Clark County, to Fred and Bertha (nee Reichert) Gerber. She
received her education in Granton Lutheran School. After school she
worked at home. She married George C. Krause Nov. 8, 1925, in
Granton. She lived on the family farm until her death. She was a
member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include one son, Clarence G. Krause, Neillsville three
daughters, Elaine Krause, Neillsville Mrs. Paul (Virginia)
McIntyre, Rockford, Ill. and Mrs. Arlo (Shirley) Smith, Colorado
Springs, Colorado two sisters, Mrs. Ed (Lobelia) Deering, and Mrs.
Wilbur (Natalie) Schlinsog, both of Marshfield and five
grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., handled the arrangements.
