1990)
Earl Magnuson, 66, Neillsville, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 1990, at Neillsville Memorial Hospital, Neillsville. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Earl Magnuson was born Sept. 10, 1924, in the town of Grant, Clark
County, to Alfred and Ella (nee Cook) Magnuson.
He served in the United States Air Force in Italy from 1943 - 1945
as a tail gunner on a B-17. He married Geraldine A. Schunke July 2,
1949. She survives. He was a self-employed milk hauler and went
into farming in 1970 in Neillsville, semi-retiring in 1981. He
worked at the Wonder Wash in Neillsville and was an avid fisherman.
He was a member of VFW Post 2241, Neillsville.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine his mother, Ella Magnuson,
Neillsville one son, Gregory L. Magnuson, Neillsville two
daughters, Mrs. Allen (Debra) Zahn, Marshfield and Mrs. Raymond
(Lori) Leggate, Neillsville one sister, Shirley Magnuson,
Neillsville and two grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., handled the arrangements.
