Bowman, Timothy (1950 - 1991)


Funeral services were conducted at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, on Monday, Jan. 7, 1991, for Timothy Bowman, 40, Route 1, Greenwood, town of Eaton.


Timothy Bowman did on Thursday, Han. 3, 1991, due to a farming accident.


A 4:15 p.m. P.C.C.W. rosary and an 8 p.m. prayer service were conducted Sunday.


Officiating at the service was Father Roman Kaiser. Serving as pallbearers were Dale Smrcek, Doug Kirchner, Melvin Abel, William Rueth, Mike Hayes and Al Weyer. Burial will be in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Eyota, Minn. Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, handled arrangements.


Timothy Bowman was born to Bernard and Eleanor (nee Smith) Bowman on Aug. 13, 1950, at Emmetsburg, Iowa.
He received his education at Dover-Eyota, Minn. High School.


He and Sharon Bernhardt were married at Holy redeemer Church, Eyota, Minn., on Aug. 21, 1971.


He farmed from 1968 to 1980 in Eyota, Minn., then moved to the town of Eaton and farmed until the time of his death. He was chosen as Rochester Jaycees outstanding farmer in 1975 and as the Loyal Jaycees outstanding farmer in 1989.


He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, the Loyal Sportsman's Club, and the Loyal Jaycees.


He is survived by his wife, Sharon two sons, Jeremy and Jason, both at home his mother, Mrs. Eleanor Bowman of Eyota, Minn. and two brothers, Gary of Zumbrota, Minn. and Darrell of Rochester, Minn.


Preceding him in death were his father one sister and one nephew.
