Plath, Helena M. (1923 - 1990)


Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 1990, in the Shrine of Heaven Chapel, Neenah, with Father John Becker officiating for Helena M. Plath, 607 Sherry St., Neenah.


Helena Plath, 67, died Monday, Dec. 24, 1990, at St. Mary's
Hospital, Rochester, Minn., following a lengthy illness.


She was born July 3, 1923, in Loyal, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (nee Dietsche) Davel.


She married Sherwood D. Plath on May 30, 1947, in Harvard, Ill.


She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, Oshkosh.


Survivors include her husband, Sherwood three sons, Michael and Clifford of Boston, and Stanley of Menasha six grandchildren one great-grandchild and one sister, Margaret Fiegel of Oshkosh.


She was preceded in death by one grandson, Michael and four brothers, Bill, Barney, Alex and Andrew.


The Kessler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
