Lindner, Barbara (1908 - 1990)
Barbara Lindner, 82, of Eau Claire, died at
Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire, on Sunday, Dec. 30, 1990, at
8:30 a.m.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 1991, at Gesche
Funeral Home, Inc., Neillsville. Father Joseph N. Henseler
officiated and interment was in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Frank Filitz, Dale Opelt, Bernie Opelt,
Jim Filitz, Bill Opelt and Arnold Huth. Carol Glaze was the soloist
and Eileen Zank the organist.
Barbara Neidermayer was born to Anton and Margaret (nee Kuheorn)
Neidermayer on Dec. 23, 1908, in Yugoslavia.
She came to the United States in the mid 20 s and was educated in
St. Paul, Minn. After school she and Otto Lindner were married on
Oct. 11, 1928 at Alma Center. They farmed in the town of Levis. She
entered the nursing home in Sept. 1990.
Surviving her are one son, Leo Lindner of Eau Claire two daughters,
Mrs. Joseph (Lela) Margl, St. Paul, Minn. and Mrs. Thomas (Edith)
Nauertz of Neillsville 13 grandchildren and 17
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one
daughter.
