Krause, Reinhold E. (1905 - 1990)
Reinhold E. Krause, 84, Marshfield, died
Friday, Sept. 7, 1990, at St. Joseph's Hospital Hospice Unite. He
was admitted to the hospital Aug. 25. Services were held Monday,
Sept. 10, 1990, at 11 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, Marshfield.
Rev. Gary Hedding and Rev. Eric Biedermann officiated. Burial was
in the Hillside Cemetery. Music was provided by William Allen,
Soloist, and Maldon Plank, organist. Pallbearers were Kenneth
Krause, Donald Krause, Bob Holt., Edward Hysell, Ted Hysell, and
Richard Quast. Honorary pallbearers were James Klement, Dennis
Klement, Gary Aga, Gordon Schuster, Peter Trudeau, and Dr. Richard
Ulmer.
Reinhold E. Krause was born Oct. 13, 1905, in the town of Grant,
Clark County, to Carl and Emilie (nee Roder) Krause. He received
his education at Roder School in the town of Grant. He married Iva
Hysell June 4, 1930, at Zion Lutheran Church in the town of Grant.
She survives. They moved to Marshfield in 1935. He was employed as
an auto mechanic for the former Boulevard Motor Co. and then the
last years before he retired in 1978, he was employed at Gordie's
Sales and services. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. The
Krause celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary June 3, 1990.
Survivors include his wife, Iva three brothers, Oscar Krause, Carl
Krause and Martin Krause, all of Granton and one sister, Mrs. Hilda
Holt, Neillsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Hansen Funeral Home, Marshfield, handled the arrangements.
Memorial may be designated to Faith Lutheran Church or the Hospice
Unit of St. Joseph's Hospital.
