Rohloff, Edward (1910 -

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 1990, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, for Edward Rohloff, 79, of 240 N. Main, Loyal.
Mr. Rohloff died at St. Joseph's Hospice Center at 7 p.m.,
Wednesday, June 27, 1990.
Officiating at the service was Rev. Joseph R. Kraly. Interment was
in the Loyal Lutheran Cemetery.
Edward Rohloff was born to Phillip and Wilhemina (nee Pieper)
Rohloff on Aug. 20, 1910, in the town of Unity. He married Gertrude
Wolter on June 27, 1934, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer.
He farmed in the town of Unity until 1956, when he became an
American Family Insurance agent. He and his wife moved to Loyal in
1958. He retired from the Insurance business in 1977. He was a
member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, assessor for the town of
Unity for 17 years, a longtime member of Loyal Rotary Club, a past
member of Riplinger School board, Lutheran Church Board and a
former secretary of the Loyal Bowling Association.
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother.
Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, handled arrangements.
