Herbel, Mollie (1909 - 1990)
Mollie Herbel, 80, Green Bay, died Sunday,
June 17, 1990, at her home. Funeral services were held Thursday,
June 21, 1990, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Neillsville. Rev.
Richard Weber officiated. Burial was in the Neillsville City
Cemetery. Family members served as pallbearers.
Mollie (Heffele) Herbel was born Oct. 4, 1909, in Mountain Lake,
Minn., to David and Elizabeth (Heinitz) Heffele. She received her
education there. She married George Herbel on Aug. 31, 1929, in
Waukegan, Ill. He died Oct. 26, 1984. After their marriage they
lived in Milwaukee for a short time. They then moved to Neillsville
and resided there from 1945 to 1967. In 1967 they retired and moved
to Mesa, Ariz.
Survivors include one son, Donald, Green Bay three daughters, Mrs.
Frederick (Dolores) Meyer, Green Bay Mrs. Daryl (Violet) Hardwick,
Humbird Mrs. Jerry (Dorothy) Ford, Las Vegas, Nev. one sister, Mrs.
John (Lydia) Stamm, Milwaukee two brothers, Jacob and Reinhard
Heffele, both of Milwaukee nine grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one
grandchild.
Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., Neillsville, was in charge of the
arrangements.
