Lieske, Ruth (1911 - 1990)
Ruth Lieske, 78, Spencer, died Friday, May
25, 1990, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, at 6:30 p.m.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 29, 1990, at Rinka Funeral
Home. Rev. Joseph Kraly officiated. Burial was in Loyal
Cemetery.
Ruth (Stange) Lieske was born July 19, 1911, in Clark County to
Charles and Minnie (Neuman) Stange. She was a graduate of Stevens
Point High School. She married Herman Lieske in the town of Loyal
on April 26, 1934. He died in Jan. 1978. She farmed with her
husband all her life in the town of Sherman. They retired and moved
to Spencer in 1976. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and
its Ladies Aid.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Lester (Carol) Spaulding,
Black Creek one son, John Lieske, Sparta seven grandchildren and
four great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, two brothers, one
sister and one daughter, Kristin Klemke.
Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, was in charge of the arrangements.
