Grade, Mildred I. (1912 - 1989)

Mildred Grade, 77, Neillsville, died Dec. 27, 1989, at 10:52 p.m. at Neillsville Memorial Home, Neillsville. Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 30, 1989, at Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., Neillsville. Rev. James Gordon officiated. Burial was in town of Lynn Cemetery. Her family served as pallbearers.

Mildred Grade was born April 28, 1912, in Granton to Paul and Laura Handke. She received her education in Granton area schools. She married Clifford C. Grade in Granton on June 2, 1934. He died in May 1987. They farmed in the Granton area and then moved to Rockford, Ill. where they continued to farm for 20 years. They returned to Granton in 1968. After her husband's death she moved to Neillsville.

Survivors include one son, Douglas E. Grade, Neillsville one sister, Mrs. Clarence (Selma) Sternitzky, Granton one brother, Lester Handke, Columbus five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband.

Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., handled the arrangements.
