Fecker, Vivian Ida Emma (1920 - 1989)
Vivian Fecker, 69, Route 1, Colby, died
Friday, Dec. 29, 1989, at 9:35 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital,
Marshfield. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 2, 1990, at
St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby. Rev. Bruce Ball officiated.
Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ed Brill, Jose
Brill, Richard Massop, Richard Goldschmidt, Norman Meinke and Brice
Bender.
Vivian (Cole) Fecker was born Dec. 17, 1920, in the town of Lynn to
Alvin and Hattie (Schultz) Cole. She received her education in
Granton and Dorchester schools. She married Clarence Fecker on
April 26, 1940, at St. Mary's Rectory, Colby. They farmed all their
lives in the town of Hull and Frankfort until retiring in 1974. She
was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and its Christian
Mothers.
Survivors include her husband, one daughter, Mrs. John (Gloria)
Witte, Ellensburg, Wash three sons, Gary, Colby George, Fenwood
Gene, Colby Four sisters, Alvina Grieser, Mosinee Lorraine Janz,
Wausau Mrs. Delmer (Arleata) Leffel, Colby Mrs. Jerome (Romana)
Schmitz, Wausau one brother, Arthur, Wausau 13 grandchildren and
seven great-grandchildren.
