Hansen, Lloyd (1907 - 1990)
Lloyd Hansen, 82, Loyal, died Friday, Jan.
19, 1990, at St. Joseph's Hospice Unite, Marshfield. Funeral
services were held Monday, Jan. 22, 1990, at Trinity Lutheran
Church, Loyal. Rev. Joseph Kraly officiated. Burial was in Loyal
Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers were Harold Dahl, John Schlultz,
Harvey Degenhardt, Gary Steele, Todd Lindner and Bob Abel.
Lloyd Hansen was born May 3, 1907, in Superior to James and Grace
(Markhart) Hansen. He received his education through the eighth
grade in Douglas County. He married Esther Guenther on June 26,
1929, at St. Luke's Church, Waukesha. They came to Loyal in 1954
and owned and operated the Gambles Hardware Store. They later
started the Skogmos' Store. He retired in 1970. He was a member of
Trinity Lutheran Church a charter member of the Lions Club a member
of the Loyal Rotary Club former member of the Chamber of Commerce
and past president of the Loyal Nutritional Program.
Survivors include his wife two daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Donna)
Langfeldt, Loyal Mrs. Bruce (Susan) Gladh, Woodruff one son,
Kenneth, DeMoines, Iowa one sister, Mrs. Chris (Evelyn) Kind, Eagle
River one grandson six granddaughters and six
great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Glen.
Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, was in charge of the arrangements.
