MRS. SYBIL STEINER
 

Funeral services for Mrs. Sybil Steiner, 73, of 217 N. Main, Loyal, Clark County, were conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 5 at United Methodist Church, Loyal.


Mrs. Steiner was found in her apartment by a friend Friday afternoon, Sept. 1, 1978. Bob Lulloff, Clark County Coroner, ruled the death due to natural causes.


Officiating at the service was Rev. Charles Sanford. Mrs. Teri Nikolay was the soloist and Mrs. Ruth Zepplin the organist.
 

Interment was in the Loyal Cemetery.


Sybil Walls was born on May 9, 1905 in Loyal to William and Elva (Turner) Walls. She received her education at Loyal Public Schools. She was employed as a telephone operator from 1926 to 1933 at Loyal.


On Sept. 27, 1930, she was married to Claude Steiner at Winona, Minn. They farmed in the Town of Loyal from 1930 until 1972. After her husband s death, she moved to the City of Loyal, where she has lived ever since.


She was a member of the United Methodist Church and its Ladies Aid.


Surviving her are two sons, David of Park Falls and Thomas of Menomonee Falls and two grandchildren.


Pallbearers were Ervin Dux, Hugo Stutte, Robert Bertz, Lowell Roehl, Everett Gehrt and Duane Stutte.


She was preceded in death by her husband.


Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, was in charge of arrangements.
