Fricke, Hazel F. (1916 - 1990)
Hazel Fricke, 73, Colby, died Thursday, Jan.
11, 1990, at 3:40 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 15, 1990, at Rux Funeral
Home, Colby. Rev. Kenneth Dix, First United Church of Christ,
officiated. Burial was in Colby Memorial Cemetery.
Hazel Fricke was born July 24, 1916, in the town of Hull to Edward
and Bertha (Wolk) Fricke. She graduated from Colby High School. She
worked in Chicago and Fort Lauderdale, Fla., before returning to
Colby in 1978. She was a member of the Colby Senior Citizens and a
former member of the Cherokee Homemakers Club. She never
married.
Survivors include one brother, Edward Fricke, Colby two sisters,
Mrs. Robert (Louise) Ebann, Homewood, Ill. Mrs. Carl (Mae) Ebann,
Dangerfield, Tex.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother.
Rux Funeral Home, Colby, handled the arrangements.
