Noll, Raymond (1902 - 1991)


Raymond J. Noll, 88, Owen, died Monday, May 6, 1991, at the Clark County Health Care Center. Funeral services were held Thursday, May 9, 1991, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Neillsville. Father Joseph N. Henseler officiated and burial was in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Neillsville. Grandsons served as pallbearers.


Raymond J. Noll was born Nov. 22, 1902, in Milwaukee, to John and Elizabeth (nee Kohler) Noll. He received his education in Neillsville. After school he went to Milwaukee and worked as a carpenter for several years. He then returned to Neillsville. He married Rose A. Langreck Oct. 1, 1927, in Neillsville. She survives. He worked for St. Mary's Church and also worked for the city in City Maintenance, retiring in 1964. He was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church.


Survivors include his wife one son, Donald H. Noll, Two Rivers two daughters, Mrs. Clara Duval, Fountain City and Mrs. William (Loraine) Ross, Marshfield two sisters, Mrs. Stella Hainzlsberger, Colby and Mrs. Viola Maxwell, Vancouver, Wash. three brothers, Arnold Noll, Lynn George Noll, Wis. Rapids and Frank Noll, Redfield, S.D. 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.


He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, and two grandchildren.


Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., handled the arrangements.
