Fischer, Irma Helen (1905 - 1991)

Irma Helen Fischer, 85, Colby, died Sunday, March 3, 1991, at the Colonial House Living Center, Colby. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 1991, at First United Church of Christ, Colby. Rev. Kenneth Dix officiated and burial was in Colby Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tom Fischer, Kenneth Fischer, Herb Sauer, Jim Kappel, Howard Lulloff and Les Williams.
Irma Loos was born Sept. 8, 1905, in Colby, to Wilhelm and Anna (nee Voelker) Loos. She married Ervin Fischer April 30, 1926, in Colby. They farmed in the town of Hull all their married lives. He preceded her in death in Jan. 1983. She was a member of First United Church of Christ and its Ladies Aid.

Survivors include one son, Daniel Fischer, Unity and five grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one son, one brother and four sisters.
