Molle, Lela Erma (1902 - 1991)
Lela Erma Elvera Molle, 88, Colby, died
Saturday, March 9, 1991, at St. Joseph's Hospital Hospice Care
Unit, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday,
March 12, 1991, at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby. Rev. Mark Neumann
officiated and burial was in the town of Beaver Cemetery.
Pallbearers were grandsons Ken Reckner, David Zimmerman, Norm
Miller, Kevin Boyer, Dan Draschnewski, and Dan Mook.
Lela Erma Elvera Hoops was born Nov. 12, 1902, in Spencer, to John
and Pauline (nee Natzke) Hoops. She received her education in
Spencer schools. She married Herman Molle June 7, 1922, at Trinity
Lutheran Church, Spencer. They farmed in the town of Unity until
1949, when they moved into the Village of Unity. He preceded her in
death July 18, 1968. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and
its Ladies Aid.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Emanuel (Berdine) Zimmerman,
Unity and Mrs. Eugene (Darlene) Prien, Colby five grandchildren, 11
great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents and 12 brothers and
sisters.
Rux Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
