Lavandowska, Helmuth (1904 - 1991)

Helmuth Lavandowska, 86, formerly of the Christie area, died Sunday, March 17, 1991, at his home in Titusville, Fla. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 22, 1991, at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal. Rev. Helmer Eckstrom, Gilman, will officiate and burial will be in the Loyal Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at Rinka Funeral Home.

Helmuth Lavandowska was born Dec. 14, 1904, in Clark County, to Fred and Louise (nee Hofferman) Lavandowska. He received his education in Clark County. After he married Vera Rollis, they farmed in the town of Weston and then sold Christmas trees for 42 years. And also whitewashed barns. In 1971 they moved to Holcomb and the last 12 years had been living in Florida.

Survivors include his wife, Vera, Titusville, Fla. one daughter, Mrs. Joyce Mean, Titusville, Fla. six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one son.
