Runge, Pearl I. (1896 - 1991)

Pearl I. Runge, 94, died Wednesday, April 10, 1991, at Neillsville Memorial Hospital, Neillsville. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 13, 1991, at 11 a.m. at Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., Neillsville. Rev. Thomas LaChapelle officiated and burial was in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Friends served as pallbearers.

Pearl I. Schaefer was born Sept. 19, 1896, in the town of Weston, Clark County, to Mathias and Emma (nee Silke) Schaefer. She received her education at Mound School in the town of Weston. She married Otto Runge Feb. 11, 1918, in Christie. They farmed in the town of Weston until his death in 1975.

Survivors include two sons, Dale A. Runge, Neillsville and Victor A. Runge, Hillside, Ill. six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers.
