Marg, Lois L. (1933 - 1991)
Lois L. Marg, 57, Neillsville, died Monday,
June 10, 1991, at her home. Funeral services were held Wednesday,
June 12, 1991, at 1:30 p.m. at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Neillsville. Rev. Richard P. Weber officiated and burial
was in the Neillsville city Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bill Simek,
Robert Nick, Eric Kouls, Fill Opelt, Jeff Klieforth, and Jack
Hammond.
Lois L. Larson was born Aug. 21, 1933, in Cottonwood, S.D. to Soren
and Emma (nee Fees) Larson. She received her education in the Pin
Valley Mound School and Neillsville High School. After school she
was employed by the Neillsville Clinic from 1951 - 1963. She
married Irvin Marg Oct. 15, 1955, in Neillsville. He survives. They
moved to Alma Center for nine years and upon returning to
Neillsville they owned and operated Irv and Lois' Bar in
Neillsville for 3 years she worked at the Clark County Agency from
1976 - 1989. She was currently employed at the Mid-Wisconsin
Insurance Agency in Neillsville as office manager and agent. She
was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, the
American Legion Unit 73 Auxiliary, and VFW 2241 Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband her parents two sons, Terry Marg,
Hixton and Howard Marg, Wis. Rapids one sister, Mrs. Donald (Betty)
Schultz, Neillsville and three grandchildren.
Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., handled the arrangements.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be give to St. John's Evangelical
Lutheran Church.
