Hales, Myrle G. (1913 - 2001)
Myrle G. Hales, 88, Sun City Ariz., formerly
of Loyal, died on Thursday, March 8, 2001, in the Woodmark Care
Home. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, March
14, at Willowbrook United Methodist Church, Sun City, Ariz.
Myrle G. Hales was born in Ocheyedan, Iowa. He graduated from the
Wisconsin School of Banking. He was a cashier at the Citizen's
State Bank of Loyal, and worked at the Granton Branch Bank also. He
later was president of the Farmers State Bank. He moved to Arizona
in 1978 from Wisconsin and was president of the Wisconsin Bankers
Association and a member of the Lions International, and a 32
degree Mason, Sun City Lodge 72.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Hales three daughters, Nan
Weihmuller, Darlene Wallschlager, and Mary Salone 10 grandchildren
and 19 great-grandchildren.
