Luchterhand, Debbie L. (1960 - 2000)

Debbie L. Luchterhand, 40, Loyal, died on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, at the Marshfield Center, after a long battle with cancer. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 20, at the Lutheran Church, Loyal. The Rev. Daniel Zimmerman officiated. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers were Harold Dahl, Walt Seeger, Mike Luchterhand, Lynn Luchterhand, Kenny Luchterhand, and LaVerne Kronberger.

Debbie Lou Luchterhand was born on Oct. 8, 1960, in Milwaukee, to Melvin and Ruth (nee Skoog) Luchterhand. She was baptized on Dec. 11, 1960, and confirmed on March 23, 1975. She was a 1978 graduate of Loyal High School. Following her education, she worked for many years at the Kitchen Table, Marshfield. Later, she moved to Wausau and worked at the River Valley Bank and Wausau Insurance. She then moved back to Marshfield due to health reasons. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her parents, Melvin and Ruth Luchterhand, Loyal one sister, Donna Karl, Buffalo, N.Y. one brother, Dale (Fay) Luchterhand, Loyal four nieces, Karen, Kristi, Jessica, and Emily four nephews, Brady, Ben, Mark, and David and special friends, Maggie, Carrie, Jody, and Ron.

Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, assisted the family with arrangements.
