EDWARD ORSBURN
 

Edward Orsburn, 69, of 333 W. Maryland, St. Paul, Minn. passed away early Wednesday morning, Oct. 18, 1978 at St. John's Hospital at St. Paul.


Services were conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 21 at Immanuel United Church of Christ, Greenwood. Officiating was Rev. Larry Davis. Burial was in the West Side Cemetery.


Edward Orsburn was born to Orie and Rachael (Fugursen) Orsburn on March 30, 1909 in Clark County and received his education at Benjamin School.


He was married to Adeline Schwarze at home in the Town of Warner (Greenwood) on Dec. 12, 1928.


He farmed in the Town of Warner for about 45 years and worked 25 years for the Master Package Co. in Owen, retiring in 1975. He had been living at Lake Mead.


He was a member of the United Church of Christ.


Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Harry (Joanna) Wallis of St. Paul, Miss Rachael Orsburn of St. Paul, and Miss Phyllis Orsburn of St. Paul two brothers, Theodore of Marseilles, Ill. and Bud of Owen three sisters, Mrs. John (Elsie) Kuhen of Marshfield, Mrs. John (Beulah) Ormond of Neillsville and Mrs. Lester (Dolly) Wetzel of Greenwood, and two grandchildren.


Serving as pallbearers were Bernard Orsburn, , Roger Schwarze, Erwin Toburen, Elmer Humke and Lester Wetzel. Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, was in charge of arrangements.


He was predeceased by his wife in 1975 one brother and four sisters.
