Breheim, Norma A. (1915 - 2001)
Norma A. Breheim, 85, Spencer, died on
Friday, June 22, 2001. She was residing at the Marshfield Center at
the time of her death. Services were held on Tuesday, June 26, at
Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer, with the Rev. Robert Olson
officiating. Grandsons and nephews served as pallbearers. Burial
was in Brooklawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in the town of Richfield,
Wood County.
Norma Alice Stoneburg was born on Sept. 4, 1915, in Greenwood,
Clark County, to Daniel and Gertrude (nee Howe) Stoneburg. She
received her education at Cameran school and Spencer High School.
She moved with her parents from the Spencer area to Ogema in 1931.
She married Albert C. Breheim on Feb. 9, 1933. In 1935, she and her
husband purchased her husband s father s farm near Marshfield,
where they farmed until April 1980, when they retired and moved to
Spencer. She was the sewing leader for Ebbe 4-H for many years.
Survivors include three sons, DuWayne (Betty) Breheim, Marshfield,
Eugene (Patricia) Breheim, Virginia Beach, Va., and Richard
(Barbara) Breheim, Sedalia, Mo. two daughters, Darlene (Robert)
Wernsman, King George, Va., and Nancy (Garry) Wilke, Spencer 15
grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four
sisters, one brother, one grandson and one granddaughter.
Community Funeral Homes, Spencer, assisted the family with
arrangements.
