Krom, Debra R. (1955 - 2001)

Debra R. Krom, 45, Morristown, N.J., died on Saturday, July 21, 2001, at her home. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 24, at Congregation Beth Hatikva, Chatham, N.J., with Rabbi Amy Joy Small officiating. Burial was in Beth Israel Cemetery, Cedar Knolls, N.J.

Debra Rae Krom was born on Oct. 13, 1955, in Chippewa Falls, to Harold and Virginia (nee Abramson) Krom. She grew up in Greenwood, and graduated from Greenwood High School. She earned her master's degree from the University of Wisconsin. She was employed by the Reed Elisvier Publishing Co., New Providence, N.J. at the time of her illness.

Survivors include her mother, Virginia Krom, Greenwood special friends Peter and Irene Spitz, Highland Park, Ill. and uncles, Irvin (Judi) Abramson, Champlin, Minn., and Milton (Beatrice) Abramson, Omaha, Neb.

She was preceded in death by her father.
