EDDIE BERTHOLD


Funeral services were conducted by Rev. David Logue at Rinka Funeral Home, on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 11 a.m., for Eddie Berthold, 72, of 204 Andrew St., Greenwood, Clark County, who passed away at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 28, 1978 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.


Mrs. Duane Olson was the soloist and Mrs. Leona Albert was the organist. Interment was in the Greenwood Cemetery.


Eddie Berthold was born to Herman and Louis Berthold in Granton on Feb. 7, 1906 and received his education at Blackberry School in the Town of Seif.


He married Angie Ticer in Neillsville on Oct. 19, 1957.


He worked for Speich Tractor in Greenwood for 22 years as a mechanic, retiring in 1975.


Surviving him are his wife, Angie one brother, Walter of Loyal and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Anderson of Loyal.


Ken Speich, Donald Berthold, Lindy Windom, Elmer Windom, Peter McCammant and William Englebretson served as pallbearers.


Preceding him in death were his parents, one sister and three brothers.


Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, was in charge of arrangements.
