Flick, Norma (1913 - 2001)
Norma Flick, 88, Colby, Clark County, died on
Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2001, at her home. Funeral services were held at
11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001, at First United Church of
Christ, Colby. The Rev. Kenneth A. Dix officiated. Burial was in
Colby Memorial Cemetery, town of Colby. Pallbearers were grandsons,
Brian Flick, Bruce Flick, Tim Flick, Scott Remus, Arthur Remus and
Chris Adams.
Norma Voelker was born on March 7, 1913, in Colby, to August and
Anne (nee Koeser) Voelker. She married Charles Flick on Aug. 11,
1932, in Colby. He died May 29, 1978. They owned and operated the
Dill Creek Cheese Factory from 1933-47 and farmed in the town of
Colby from 1947-80.
Survivors include four daughters, Janet (Jerome) Wendling, Kiel,
Carmen (Ray) Hainzslperger, Unity, Ellen (Art) Remus, Athens, and
Pricilla Adams, Chester, Va. two sons, Wayne (Pat) Flick, Horicon,
and Charles (Gail) Flick, Colby 12 grandchildren, eight
great-grandchildren and one brother, Roland Voelker, Colby.
She was preceded in death by her parents her husband one sister,
Caroline and three brothers, Oscar, Elmer and Marvin.
Community Funeral Home, Colby, assisted the family with
arrangements.
