Vesel, Charles A. (1940 - 2001)
Charles A. Chuck Vesel, 61, Alpharetta, Ga.,
formerly of Greenwood, Clark County, died on Thursday, March 1,
2001. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., on Monday, March 5,
at St. Benedict's Catholic Church. The Rev. Joe Corbett officiated.
Burial was in Arlington Memorial Park.
Charles A Vesel was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin,
where he was a member of the Delta Epsilon and is a member of the
Nation W Club. He was very active in the Mayfair Homeowner's
Association, a member of St. Brigid's Catholic Church, a member of
ALTA and USTA, and during the 1996 Olympics, he served as the
driver for the Slovenian Olympic Team.
Survivors include his wife, Therese Terry Vesel, Alpharetta, Ga.
one daughter, Meghan Meg Vesel, Atlanta, Ga. one son, John Vesel,
Hartford, Conn. two sisters, Margaret Brown, Bergland, Mich., and
Josephine Sowieja, Stevens Point two brothers, Robert Vesel,
Greenwood and Raymond Vesel, Sterling, Ill. and several nieces and
nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John F. and Margaret Vesel
and two brothers, John Vesel, who died as a prisoner of War in the
Philippines during World War II, and Bernard Vesel.
Northside Chapel Funeral Directors, Inc., Roswell/Alpharetta, Ga.,
assisted the family with arrangements.
