Kadolph, Larry L. (1944 - 2001)
Larry L. Kadolph, 57, Withee, Clark County,
died on Sunday, July 15, 2001, at the Clark County Health Care
Center, Owen, after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral
services were held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, July 18, at St. John's
Lutheran Church, Withee. The Rev. Tom Myhre officiated. Burial was
in the Riverside Cemetery, Withee. Pallbearers were Erin Decorah,
Kurt Kadolph, Ken Kadolph, Shayne Kadolph, Scott Wucherpfennig, and
Ann Molski.
Larry Lee Kadolph was born on April 24, 1944, in Granton, to Hillus
and Lucille (nee Matthias) Kadolph. He attended area schools and
was a 1962 graduate of Loyal High School, where he was active in
drama and gymnastics. He married Marian Bredlau on June 27, 1964,
in Loyal, and had celebrated 37 years of marriage. He was employed
with Accelerated Genetic (Tri-State Breeders) for 35 years as an
A.I. technician and retired due to illness. He was an outstanding
supporter of the Owen Withee sports teams and received the William
Doonan Award for his endeavors. He was an active member of the O-W
Boosters Club and the chain gang for the O-W football team. He
videotaped all the sporting events, both home and away, for team
members and fans. He enjoyed camping and was an avid golfer. He was
a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Marian Kadolph, Withee his parents,
Hillus and Lucille Kadolph, Loyal one son, Steve (Debbie) Kadolph,
Colby two daughters, Lori (Rick) Jalling, Greenville, and Kim
(Brian) Fravert, Pulaski seven grandchildren, Hailey and Emily
Kadolph, Jacob, Katie and Jenna Jalling, and Adam and Collin
Fravert three brothers, Roger (LaVerne) Kadolph, Loyal, Randy
(Jean) Kadolph, Thorp, and Jack (Vicki) Kadolph, Loyal and many
friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Maurina Funeral Home, Owen, assisted the family with
arrangements.
