Richmond, Irene M. (1931 - 2001)
Irene M. Richmond, 69, Neillsville, Clark
County, died on Wednesday, July 11, 2001, at the Memorial Nursing
Home, Neillsville, after a long battle with emphysema. Funeral
services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, at the Gesche
Funeral Home, Neillsville. The Rev. Craig Conklin of the United
Methodist Church officiated. Interment was in the Neillsville City
Cemetery.
Irene Marie Mathews was born on Dec. 10, 1931, at home in Humbird,
to Isaac and Phyllis (nee Wincentsen) Mathews. In 1942, they moved
to Loyal, where she attended school. She married Robert F. Lulloff
in 1948, they later divorce. She went to work at Marshfield Homes
and worked there for several years. She married Harold Bob Richmond
on April 13, 1969, in Neillsville. They owned and operated the
Riviera Supper Club from 1977 to 1983. Later she worked in the
kitchen at the Neillsville High School part time for a couple of
years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church,
Neillsville. She loved reading, collecting teddy bears, and
flowers.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Bob Richmond two daughters,
Kathy (Bob) Albers, Jacksonville, Fla., and Cindy (Tom) Kopp,
Neillsville two sons, Mike (Maxine) Lulloff, Long Island, N.Y., and
Tom Lulloff, Fort Worth, Texas 10 grandchildren, Troy, Jeanie,
Stephanie, Christopher, Miranda, Becky, Heather, Gennifer, Gregory,
and Bobby one sister, Betty (Leonard) Rueth, Greenwood and one
sister-in-law, Evie Mathews, Racine.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother,
Roger.
Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, assisted the family with
arrangements.
