Zabler, Anna S. (1911 - 2001)
Anna S. Zabler, 90, Neillsville, Clark
County, died on Thursday, July 12, 2001, at the Memorial Nursing
Home, Neillsville. A memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., on
Saturday, July 21, at the United Church of Christ, Neillsville. The
Rev. James Mohr will officiate. Inurnment will take place at the
Highland Memorial Park, New Berlin, at a later date.
Anna Sarah Kuester was born on April 12, 1911, in the town of
Herman, Sheboygan County, to Ferdinand and Anna (nee Bub) Kuester.
They moved to Clark County when she was 3 years old, and she was
educated in Neillsville. After her schooling, she moved to
Milwaukee. She married Earl Zabler on May 26, 1934. During her
life, she worked as a homemaker and raised her family. She was a
member of the United Church of Christ and loved to cook and care
for her flower garden. She enjoyed her grandchildren and
great-grandchildren. Her husband died on Dec. 16, 1979, in 1999,
she moved back to Neillsville.
Survivors include one daughter, Shirley (Tom) Tibbett, Neillsville
eight grandchildren, Patricia Schmidt, Altoona, Bruce Tibbett,
Marshfield, Bev Poeschel, Neillsville, Michelle Witte, Fort
Atkinson, Jennifer Grady, Waukesha, Amy Tibbett, Wauwatosa, Theresa
Marek, New Berlin, and Jacqueline Andrews, West Allis 17
great-grandchildren one great-great-grandchild one son-in-law,
Roger Bernie, West Allis one sister, Beulah Landerman, Kenosha one
sister-in-law, Gert Kuester, Watertown and many nieces and
nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents her husband, Earl Zabler
one daughter, Patricia six sisters, Mabel, Ella, Minny, Amanda,
Sadie, and Isabelle and one brother, Roman.
Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, is assisting the family with
arrangements.
