Eppers, Julia (1857 - 1926)
Mrs. Julia Eppers was born at Somers, Kenosha
County, Wis., Dec. 11, 1857 and passed away Jan. 7, 1926 at the age
of 68 years and 21 days. She had been in poor health for several
years and up to four weeks previous to her death when she became
seriously ill, was able to be up and about the house.
In 1874 she was married to Henry Bush and to this union one son was
born, Fred E. Bush, who with his wife was present at the
funeral.
In 1879 she was united in marriage to John Eppers at Racine, Wis.,
and moved from Kenosha to Clark County in 1901, and resided on a
farm northwest of Withee until 6 years ago, when they sold out and
bought a small farm west of Withee, where they resided with their
son.
Mrs. Eppers leaves to mourn the loss of a good wife and mother, the
husband, three sons, and a daughter, 2 sisters and 2 brothers, Fred
Bush of Miles City, Mont., John of Withee, Jacob of Stanley and
Mrs. Wm. Rohan of Withee, Nicholas having preceded her in death
fourteen years, Mrs. Chas. Gentz of Somers, Mrs. Jack Emsley of
Racine, Mort Neff of Walworth and Reuben Neff, Withee. The funeral
was conducted from the Catholic Church at Withee, with the Father
Eisenmann officiating. Interment was made at the Riverside
Cemetery.
