CLARA LIEBZEIT
Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Liebzeit, 91, of 309 Andrew St., Greenwood, were conducted at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 13 at Immanuel United Church of Christ, Greenwood.
Mrs. Liebzeit passed away at 10:45 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 10, 1978 at
Memorial Hospital, Neillsville.
Officiating at the service was Rev. Larry Davis. Burial was in the
Braun Settlement Cemetery.
Clara Braun was born on June 14, 1887 in the Town of Reseburg. She
received her education at a rural Braun Settlement School.
She was married on May 7, 1910 to Albert Liebzeit.
They farmed in the Town of Warner until 1946. After Albert's death,
she moved to Greenwood.
She was a member of the Immanuel United church of Christ and its
Ladies Aid. She was also a member of the West Side Guild.
Surviving her are four sons, Harry, Clarence, Norman and Arvin, all
of Greenwood one daughter, Mrs. Elmer (Gertrude) Learman of
Greenwood one sister, Mrs. Emil (Marianna) Noah of Greenwood one
brother, Theodore Braun of Neillsville 21 grandchildren and 20
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Albert in 1946 three
brothers one sister and one daughter.
Galen Liebzeit, Bruce Liebzeit, Roger Liebzeit, James Learman,
Richard Lombard and James Ziegler served as pallbearers.
Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, was in charge of
arrangements.
