Pashelles, Louis (1849 - 1879)
Died, in this place (Neillsville, Clark County), on last Sunday
morning, of dropsy, Louis Pashelles, aged 29 years.
The deceased was born in Prague, Bohemia. He came to Merton, in
this state, in 1869, where he resided until 1875, when he entered
the service of A. Meinhold, at Black River Falls, with whom he
stayed as an indispensable assistant until failing health compelled
him to forego his duties several months ago, at which time he came
to reside with his brother Jacob, at this place. He grew gradually
worse until death came to his relief last Sunday morning. His body
was taken to Milwaukee and placed in its last resting place in that
city, under the impressive rites of the Jewish Church, in which he
was born and reared.
